Possibly Jordyn Adams, Chris Rodriguez and a flyer on Oliver Ortega?

I don't know if that would be enough, but two years of control.

Personally, no. I don't think it is, but it certainly would sting. I don't think Colorado would want Thaiss/Rengifo or Ward though. Not with McMahon able to play all over the diamond, Rodgers too. Hampson as well. 

I think a decent model for that type of trade would be what the Mets paid for two years (1.5 really) of Marcus Stroman. One back end starter and one extremely young but extremely high ceiling starter. It would be the equivalent of Patrick Sandoval and Jack Kochanowicz. 

But I figure Gray has a half season longer of control, so he's got a little more value. Adams and Hector Yan might be enough. 

But I think teams know that Eppler backed himself into a corner here and will be forced to pay if he wants the right kind of arms. So they'll ask for the moon and wait for Eppler to get desperate enough.

Could probably reduce the prospect cost of Gray by taking on Davis, McGee, or Shaw. All signed for '20 with a buyout for '21
