    As Rambo said in First Blood, you just don't turn it off. I've survived plenty being a fan of this team: Nolan Ryan leaving, 1982 sweep in Milwaukee, one strike away, collapse of 1995, playoff drought from 1987 to 2001, Red Sox knocking the Angels out of the playoffs in 04, 07, and 08, Josh Paul not throwing the 1B to get A.J. Pierzynski (A.J. did what my little league coach told me to do), Fox Sports whining about the Angels for extending the 2009 ALCS to six games because they wanted the Yankees in the World Series. Not to mention all the players who died: Lyman Bostock, Donnie Moore, Nick Adenhart, and Tyler Skaggs. I've seen worst days than this. More important things going on in the world than a baseball player leaving one team for another.
