I know you want to see that, but it certainly seems like a horrible idea based on how many guys needed to be added to the 40 man next year and we will need to actually bring in more relief pitchers.

Ok, so now that we've got that loss out of the way tonight, Perry can actually do his job.

Trade Raisel Iglesias for RP prospects in AA or higher. Trade Cobb for RP prospects in AA or higher. Trade Suzuki for RP prospects in AA or higher. Trade Heaney for.... You guessed it, RP prospects in AA or higher. Then cut Bundy, Quintana, Cishek, Watson and Guerra loose. 

Then let the games begin. Put Barria and Detmers in the rotation. And then promote every potential RP prospect in the system from the trade deadline and tell them they're auditioning for next year's team. 

Then sit back and enjoy the youth movement of August and September.

Basically, the end result would be a bullpen full of a bunch no name 25 year old failed starters throwing caution to the wind and hucking the ball at 97 mph in the general direction of home plate with no discernible idea of where it's going but hoping for the best.
