It is possible to be bummed the Angels suck and at the same time glean enjoyment from watching the Rangers struggle.  They are not exclusionary.

No...no, they are not.  We must sit in a dark room and brood until they can finish with a winning season.  Sports are supposed to be serious things which is why you are not allowed a single shred of enjoyment unless your team wins always.  Right now, only the fans of maybe 10 or so teams are given permission to smile and enjoy their teams.  The rest?  The "Room"...
