The Rangers are collapsing again

The Rangers are most definitely not done yet. They need to sweep the Astros, and win 3 out of 4 from the Angels at home to give themselves a good chance -- very doable.

They need the Indians to go 3-3 in their last 6 games, not impossible even considering they play two bad teams - it's baseball, anything can happen.

Rangers have literally owned the LASTROS this season.

I think we split with Texas in the final series and they finish 1 or 2 back of Cleveland..........

Angels will have ZERO pressure on them when they play Texas.

If Texas can't beat Houston at least 2 out of 3 -- and a sweep is certainly in the card -- then that's another Texas sized collapse for them.

So you wouldn't like to see the A's face the Red Sox in a playoff series?

I think the majority of baseball fans would like to see the Dodgers in the WS if you took a national poll.

Negative.

Pimp, believe it or not, I agree w you on a lot....but only dodger fans want the dogs in the WS. Most fans aren't fans...

11-4 versus the Halos too. Hopefully 15-4 after Sunday

I think we've already gone over how the Rangers can beat really bad teams and are pedestrian against decent ballclubs, thus explaining their record. Thanks for reinforcing the point that they're not going to defeat a decent team and will likely collapse at some point, as per their tendency.

Washington has a bunch of lines of coke to do this October so he is purposely helping his team collapse.

He volunteers at the YMCA and hands out bottles of coca-cola to lines of kids who aren't able to afford them. It's a very touching gesture, really. They usually do it in late October but they had to move it up.

You can make that argument about a lot of teams in the wildcard hunt every season. This season the Indians went 15-2 vs the White Sox. And the Royals went 15-4 vs the Twins. The only reason they are still in it is because of shitty teams. That's usually how it works. The good teams win the division and the okay teams don't. But they both beat up on the bad teams.
