  1. What? Since when can't we approve, or give thumbs up.. to our own posts?
  2. I posted yesterday that there was no way Joe would be fired. You're welcome.
  3. Not about cheap, but it's about Arte. Arte and Joe are long time pals and drinking buddies. While Scioscia would head home to Thousand Oaks right after games, Joe would hang out and have a few beers with Arte. I dont think Joe is going anywhere.
  4. never said they would lose my viewership. just pissed that they decided to make me jump through hoops to watch this one, when I have paid to see "EVERY out of market game" Try to follow along.
  5. Check the logs, I came here often to read but dont post much. I've watched most of the Angels games this year.
  6. As a matter of fact yes...they promise every out of market regular season game. I've had mlb.tv since its start. They have ammended that over the years to NOT include nationally broadcast games on Fox...but those are nationally televised games that most can recieve...but that is STILL not what they promise when you sign up and pay them for, and it's BS also. And Strad...you are such an apologetic, excuse making, corperate asslicker. Good to see you havent changed.
  7. This is exactly what I told MLB.TV when I called them to voice my displeasure.
  8. If they dont get it together pretty soon I might cancel my interest, at least for this year. Another interrupted, shortened season...after everything that has happened the past few seasons. is unacceptable to me.
  9. Doesn't look like there will be any baseball for a while so I'm catching up on what else to watch when the season gets cancelled altogether..
  10. Thanks GB! The fans are ALWAYS the ones who get the shaft! Racing boards worry about everything BUT the fans. The Medina Spirit situation is STILL unresolved and the horse is running today in the biggest race of the year. Unless they are hit in the wallet they will never get that the fans ARE THE GAME . If someone can press a button to scratch a horse they can press a button to un-scratch it! HOW THE HELL CAN A HORSE BE FIT TO RACE, BUT NOT FIT TO WAGER ON?
  11. After taking it in the ass I will probably sit tomorrow out.. But for those of you who will be playing... Build around these horses. Tarnawa (probable winner)and Broome (likeable longshot) Malathat and Shedaresthedevil..(Latruska wont win) And no matter what they try to tell you.. Knicks Go will have to fall down to be beaten.
  12. Robbed me out of multiple P4's and the P5's..and all of the money I might have bet (and maybe won) tomorrow. Spent the last few weeks handicapping this day ( months really) After Pizza Bianca (who was key in a few of my bets, I was alive to multiple horizontals with a horse that IMO couldn't lose (and didnt) This day should have been my best day in 40+ years of following this sport. To say I'm pissed is a huge understatement. I'm really just numb. Its like a bad dream.
  13. As a lifelong Cubs fan, I feel your pain. The pitching edge is squarely in the Braves favor now..and there is the Dumbsty factor..so keep the faith. It's been a fun series to watch but my mute button is being tested with the Chop and the horrible commercials (the Serena one is especially annoying and it is being shown every half inning) I still think the Braves have a huge advantage and should prevail.
  14. Just another example of name power taking precedence over building a winning TEAM.
  15. One of, if not the biggest, problem with Arte's ownership. He values "Star" power above all else. Having a big name draw has always been his priority, Having a viable MLB TEAM is beyond his scope of understanding. Many of us have railed and screamed about this for years. I dont see any hope of it changing as long as Artie is the owner. Many long time fans have given up and moved on.
