Mariners are 4 games above .500 and have an outside chance at a playoffs spot. Angels are 13 games below .500 and on their way to a protected draft pick. Coincidence? Yes, injuries have been a significant factor for the Halos poor play. Now, I'm not anti-Scioscia, but, I do think that the team may be best suited for a different voice leading the troops. The team seems to have tuned him out and I'm getting tired of having to turn the page. How many pages are in this book anyway? I will always be grateful for him leading the franchise to the only championship. But, It's time for a new skipper.

I'm in the minority here as I like the trade. I mean, in the end, we're talking about Hector Santiago. And there have been a number of times that I wouldn't have minded him getting DFAed. IMHO, he is what he is. However, I do expect him to throw a few shutouts against us.
