lol @ Hofstra.

it's the UCR of the east coast

So I clicked on this thread, wondering why it went so many pages.

And as I got to page 3 or so, I went "wait.... is this the hofstra thread?"

And of course, here it is.

Id never heard of Hofstra before this, but afterwards, Id read about it several times, and always laughed.

To the point that when i see thread titles on here that say "hoornsta" i always assume the joke is back on, but then let down that its just some guys name who wrote the article

Yep, this thread is Hofstra's origin story. If only we had access to the old AngelsWin server's threads. A lot of running jokes origin threads there.

if you have two minutes to waste, listen to this white guy from Anaheim mocking the japanese back in early 50's. this is why Ryu would not sign here

I heard that he didn’t want to sign with the Angels because of Mickey Rooney’s performance in Breakfast At Tiffany’s.

We would like to report that Airi Hatakeyama, belongs to our company (Sports Backs), has married Seiya Suzuki of Hiroshima Toyo Carp!  Oh! Uniform on top of the wedding dress! Innovative!!
