Japanese OF Suzuki to be posted (source) - MLB News

His wife had been a group rhythmic gymnast and has participated in the Olympics twice.

We would like to report that Airi Hatakeyama, belongs to our company (Sports Backs), has married Seiya Suzuki of Hiroshima Toyo Carp!  Oh! Uniform on top of the wedding dress! Innovative!!

He got the wife to wear a baseball jersey over the wedding dress. 👍👍👍 Sorry I missed the ceremony, I hear candlesticks make a nice wedding gift.

(As of November 14)
Seiya Suzuki continues to practice at the home stadium (Hiroshima) even after the season ends.
He just told the press about his move to MLB, "I have nothing to talk about."

Today, NPB announced FA qualified players, including Seiya Suzuki.
If he announces the exercise of his rights within 7 days from the day after the Japan Series ends, excluding weekend, he will be able to negotiate a contract from the next day after the NPB announces that he is an FA declared player.
The Japan Series will start on November 20th.

(As of November 15)
On November 16th (Japan time), Hiroshima Toyo Carp approved Seiya Suzuki's posting application.
The deadline of his application is estimated to be December 5. The Collective Bargaining Agreement is due on December 1st, so it may be affected.
