I don't care about Desmond either way but I would be ok with Fowler, Parra or Ben Revere (if he could be be had for a reasonable price in a trade).....Not normally my attitude but Arte has made such a mess of the payroll with Pujols and Hamilton that it's time to stay out of the big name game, at least for awhile....that and none of the "big 4" seem to be real difference makers to me...

 

 

I would love Fowler for LF.  Desmond for 2B would be nice too.

Yeah, except for the weather, both of those teams would be great to play for. They have direction and tradition that few teams can match.

Here my take. I know everyone wants heyward, but i think the angels know they arent getting the 40 home run version of albert back...and they know foot problems are going to be the norm. Theyre gonna lean towards one of rhe guys with more power. Its gonna be cespedes im thinking, especially since thwyre more familiar with him.
