Would New York do Wilson for Headley straight up?

What about if the angels eat like 8-10m trade for prospects starting with 2b rob refsnyder? (Idk if he's still a prospect?) But with Castro there he's now blocked

Refsnyder went to laguna hills hs fwiw

Jason Heyward talks progressing, sources tell @Ken_Rosenthal and me. #Cubs, #STLCards, others among finalists to sign him. @FOXSports

This is usually around the stage where the Angels start showing up. First they're just sort of lumped in with the 'others' or 'mystery team' and then their name is attached, then someone downplays, and then they're frontrunners or finalists right before the deal is booked.

I think if the Angels are seriously in on Heyward, we'll be hearing very soon.

Or maybe they aren't in on Heyward at all

Not sure if Heyward deal is done, but Giants expected him to choose a club today. And it won't be them. Cubs or Cardinals, likely.

Do we have any reason to believe that they are, or ever were, in on him (other than him making way too much sense for us)? All the smoke has been around those tier 2 LF (Upton, Cespedes).

The lack of any mention of the Angels still parallels Guerrero, Pujols, Hunter, and Hamilton.

I'm not holding my breath but it wouldn't surprise me either with the way the Angels have been very mum on the subject, as well as taking care of all the low-cost needs and downplaying their willingness to spend.

But, if we don't hear something soon I'm thinking it's unlikely.

How quickly did the Hamilton deal come to be? I pulled up the article on MLB Trade Rumors, where they credited the reporters at the bottom. Joe McDonnell was first to report the Angels were in on Hamilton at 9:30am. Rosenthal broke the news of the agreement a little after 11am.

There is a lot of precedent of them doing this very quickly and quietly.
