What do you think the players are going to say?

There's a lot you can say that sound neutral on the surface, that are really telling about a lack of support for him.

 

I totally get what you mean though.   But they could have said, "Hey it sounds best for both parties," or "We wish Josh the best, but we are focused on Angels baseball."

 

Both of those kind of statements to me indicate F You Josh, Hoes (angels) before Bros (you.)

Sources: Rangers are expected to pay around $15M of Josh Hamilton's salary. He's due more than $80M through 2017. Angels pay the difference.

 

 

So the Angels are on the hook for $68 million over the next 3 years. Not much relief but some.
