Angels, Anthony Rendon In “Active Talks”

The Angels are engaged in “active talks” with free-agent third baseman Anthony Rendon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports. They’re “working hard” to sign him, per Jon Heyman of MLB Network, while Rosenthal adds that the Angels are hoping to finalize a deal tonight. At the same time, the Rangers remain in the mix, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Jeff Wilson, who notes that they’ve met with Rendon’s agent, Scott Boras, once during the Winter Meetings.

I would love the Angels to sign Rendon and have the Angels playing the Stanks and he hits the game winning home run off Cole to knock the stanks out of the playoffs and send them home and to see their fans cry that they were stupid signing Cole and should have went after Rendon.
