I think things with Cole are progressing quickly. 
 

The SP market is moving. More and more reports are coming out, a lot of them contradictory or assertive to one thing or another. NY media is churning stuff out. Random Twitter accounts are claiming to know things.

Yep! I always thought that after Wheeler signed the top tier in Cole and Strasburg would be next.

I have to agree with you. I think Cole will choose to come home. The Yankees are just trying to keep their fans from going apeshit. Cole wanting to play in Socal is his decision to make.

Seems like things are going as planned for the Angels. Not a peep from the negotiations at this point for Cole.

This is really quite simple, put a number in front of him and ask for an answer.... if he doesnt give you one, then you have one and you go elsewhere.   You dont get played by the goddamn Yankees.
He is not our only need... if it gets to a point where we cant do anything else you have to second guess it.
