Ok. This whole thing needs to happen soon. I used to be confident Cole was coming our way. But too much damn Twitter and I’m thinking otherwise.  I have to think, that if the money is close, he chooses his childhood team.  Hearing him talk about his memories growing up watching the Angels, he definitely still has an affinity for the Halos.  All this noise has to be Boras being Boras. I’m still holding out that Arte/Eppler pulls this out. Gerrit already spurned the Yanks once. He should have no qualms doing it again.

I STILL think he’s coming here. All this Yankee talk is just Boras hyping up his free agent and getting him in the spotlight and there’s no better way of doing that then saying the Yankees are all in on him.

 

Arte and Billy are working quietly behind the scenes just like they did with Pujols and Ohtani.
