An old job I used to have I met celebrities every week. The more well known they are, theyre usually a lot cooler. The lesser known people seem to be the lamer ones. The more entitled.

I went to high school with Ryan Klesko. He took me and a friend of mine to our first keg party. He was a couple of years older than me and my friend (we were in 9th grade). He drove a truck and even though it was only us 3, he made my friend and I ride in the back of the truck.

I struck out Tom Brunansky at our annual alumni baseball game.  

He then proceeded in his next AB to hit a ball about 450 feet over the houses in left field.

So Ive hinted before that I know some current and past players. Forgetting them for a sec, heres some weird ones over the years.

Randomly met Colin Powell at his daughters home while doing construction when i was younger. Used to clean Kobes neighbors pool, and ran into his wife a handful of times (her family lives in the city i work... on a bad street). Octomom does, too (have been to her houses several times). (A high school friend delivered her liter).

Ran into tommy lasorda a lot growing up. My parents still live down the street from him. 

Glenn hoffman of the dodgers used to live a few blocks over. Met trevor hoffman when i worked for cypress college. (Scott pickler, the coach, recently had a documentary about him in the cape cod league). Met charlie hough when I was there, his kid pitched for them.

A guy i used to bartend with was in no doubt before they got big. Do the math if him leaving to start his own band was a good call.

My friend (another bartender) was close friends with matt groening, so met him a few times. Have met mike ness of social D several times... hes cool as F.  A girl i dated had a cousin w them... as did a guy i work with (lots of turnover with that band).

Knew warren G growing up.

The place I bartended at was a magnet for celebrities. Met several while i worked there. Some cool, some shitty. 

Have arrested or assisted in arresting a handful of big named porn stars for dope. (My old partner hooked peter north a few weeks back.... domestic violence... i was like "that's the least disrespectful thing hes ever done to a woman".)

Flew to atlanta next to ben stein once. Randomly ended up killing time with a few of the guys from the show "ballers" in budapest a few years back. They were filming there.

Vince Ferragamos daughter used to have a restaraunt in my city. Had to taser her boyfriend.

Went to a party jeter threw after the world baseball classic (on duty). One chick beat another one, because jetes picked the other one instead of her.

Now i feel like forrest gump.

Seen or walked past quite a few in my time living in Vegas. Chatted boxing with Charlie Steiner at Caesar’s and did a “hiyooooo” when Ed Mc Mahon stepped on my foot at the Riviera. 

When one of my old flight chiefs was retiring he invited me to his flagpole ceremony. They hold it monthly for anyone retiring at that time and one of the other retirees was the logistics commander at the time. He was the son of William Westmoreland and he attended and was sitting 2 rows in front of me.

^ran into charlie sheen at a card show when i was a kid. Maybe 15 or so? Didnt know who he was at first. Way shorter than I expected.

Schwarzenegger came to my work once, same thing. Taller than sheen, hes not short. But not tall at all.... definitely some camera tricks in his movies.

went to the angels-dodgers game Tuesday night. ran into Gubi and Victor in the parking lot. shook hands with Gubi. they both seemed in a very. serious hurry to get out of there, which makes sense on many levels. I'm guessing they didn't want to get shivved more than anything.
