So all of our pitchers minus Skaggs.  Barria is 21 years old and hasn’t pitched over 90 pitches this season.  This is kind of how everyone is doing it.  We have seen pitchers taken out this season with no hitters.  Scioscia in the past never had this quick of a hook.  You can pretend he did but he didn’t have this quick of a hook.  Pitchers in the past were regularly going over 100 pitches.  This is an organizational change, so since Scioscia is stubborn, do you think he brought about this change?  Forget about your hatred of Scioscia and think logically.

Sosh, Is this you? No wonder your pitching decisions have been questionable. You  post during games

Scioscia's pitching moves have backfired all season long. He continues to over manage this team. Pitchers can’t throw strikes. Catchers can’t keep the ball in front of them. You pretty much know if it’s a close game the bullpen is going to cough it up. Good thing they held on last night or they would be looking at another home sweep with Verlander pitching tomorrow. Can this team win despite the fact Scioscia's the manager?

Sorry, can only offset one of the down votes. Board management really needs to be held accountable for arcane rules like single votes on a post.

Scioscia manages the bullpen horrendously and Eppler should have done a better job finding relievers. Both things can be true

100% . There's no reason we shouldn't have new arms. Eppler needs to apparently give scioscia 7 percivals so it's not hard to make the right decision

I'm pretty critical of the manager, but today you just have to blame Alvarez. He just flat out didn't get the job done.

Alvarez shouldnt' have pitched to Altuve, but I'm not gonna sit here and say that he should have gone to Cam. I guess the blunder was having CAm warming up in the first place and not somebody like Blake Parker or JIm Johnson maybe?

Depends what you mean by "win"

Whatever.  I like how you want to blame him but you ignore facts.  If you don’t remember him pitching guys over 100 pitches in the past that is on you, but it happened most every game.
