It’s sort of wild to me that the pitcher fails and it’s somehow scosica’s fault.  Alvarez has been one of our best relievers and is the most rested.  It sucks.  Whatever.

Usually when a pitcher is literally cruising through 7 that easily you’d at least let him enter the 8th bc he deserved to by his play.

but Sosh saw 96 pitches and came in with the hook

I do agree that he should have been yanked after walking Bregman and you go with a RHP vs Altuve....but I mean, he had Cam warming up, and I dread the thought of Cam pitching to Altuve with the bases loaded. Jim Johnson maybe would have made more sense even though none of these options are appealing, but with Johnson and his sinker the hope would be that he could at least induce a groundball in the hopes of a GIDP

This bullpen stinks and they have no concrete options at the end of the pen so IDK what Sosh is supposed to do

I hate this stupid pitch count thing. Unless they're coming off Tommy John surgery or something, if the pitcher is cruising you leave him in there.
