I'm not sure if I'd pitch Lester head to head with Kluber again.  They have the depth to switch things up.  If Lester lost games 1 & 4 there's no way you could bring him in for a game 7.

Now we see tonight if Arrieta can reverse his post-season results.

They aren't horrible, just not nearly in line with his regular seasons the past two years.

Cubs get a potential break, since Bauer's finger could act up at any time and Miller threw 46 pitches yesterday.   Cubs will be in serious  trouble if they go down 2-0, with Kluber potentially pitching twice the rest of the way.

It's tough to comprehend, but Game 1 losers have lost the past six World Series. And 12 of the past 13. And 17 of the past 19. Not to mention 19 of the past 22 and 24 of the past 28. Going all the way back to 1997, the only two teams to lose Game 1 and survive were the 2009 Yankees and the 2002 Angels.

Well I have it on good authority the reason we were able to come back down 1-0 was because Jesus Maddon was our bench coach.
