On the replay that I think you're referring to, Smoltz made it clear he wasn't a fan of it.  He said something to the effect that it is an injury waiting to happen, which I can't say I agree.  I like the stirrups look or at least high socks but whatever.

For people looking for a radio station that carries these games, here is the complete list. Yesterday's game was on 1090 AM. The usual station is 710, but other local games can bump this to one of the following stations:

690, 830, 1090, 1150

There are four most notable things about the weather in Chicago for the World Series:

1) The wind will be blowing out in Game 3 Friday night, with south-southwest winds from 10-20 mph.

2) Temperatures should be quite mild, by late October standards, particularly Friday and Saturday evenings.

3) There is a risk of light rain Saturday night as a cold front slides through.

4) Sunday night's Game 5 will likely be cooler, with a slight breeze off Lake Michigan.

Thanks HB, it currently does show some showers in the 9pm CST hour slot for game 4.   Hopefully it's only that.

It might not matter to Cleveland's batters in game 3, given how well Hendricks is pitching.   Cubs need to win that one.

Bauer is looking like Kershaw. Playoffs Kershaw,  in the late innings, in a pivotal game .

Schwarber was officially not cleared for LF duty in the WS.   Cubs still need to have him pinch hit in each of the weekend games, to keep in some sort of rhythm for DHing in games 6-7 in Cleveland.

Temps in the low 60s at gametime with no rain
