Tragic loss for the Marlins and baseball.

I wonder if he'd still be alive if they hadn't changed his scheduled day to pitch. 

Just goes to show that some decisions end up having huge consequences (both the postponement of his start, and his apparent decision to go boating late at night).

Just heartbreaking... the guy genuinely loved playing and loved being in this country. Always smiling...

So sad.  Hits home even more for Angels fans.  I immediately thought of Nick.  Now I am feeling double horrible.  Boating at night is something he probably has done before.  The good out of this is that his GF was not with him.  I am very glad the Marlins cancelled the game.  Tragic.
