I'm trying to figure out what I need when the riots start.

People running in Ferguson.  They are just getting their exercise right?

Media is pathetic. Anyone moving with any kind of pace or force is getting camera time hoping to create or catch rioting or violence.

You know what's disappointing about all this? 

 

There are lots of Black people in this country who aren't like the protesters in Ferguson acting like thugs and destroying property.  But we never hear from them.  Much of the subsequent violence and vandalism could be reduced if fellow Blacks made a stand and called them out for their BS.

Calling them out isn't going to make thugs and rioters re-think their life choices or cause them to go home. People like that are the lowest of the low and respectable individuals who happen to have the same skin color probably just want to separate themselves from those people as much as possible. There are respectable people out there who have spoken up but that type of news doesn't sell as much.

Watching a live stream of this. Some of these people need to try to act like intelligent human beings for once. Sitting there flipping off the cops and yelling "**** da police" is not a good way of doing that.

The questions by the media in the courtroom are worse. There are a few clowns that are insisting, regardless of how laws and protocols with regards to cases in this country, that there is something hidden or agenda laden.....probably trying to get viewers and website hits. They aren't even constructive and more accusatory.

I sometimes like reading the cop forum policeone.com for some perspective of "the other side".

They actually make the posters verify that they are really cops.

It always delivers. No matter how heinous or unjustified the crime by police, they will always make excuses for it. Lots of "brotherhood" nonsense.

While rioting is stupid I understand the outrage. In most cases the cops get away with murder, even if there is clear video evidence of it. I'm not saying that this is one of those obvious cases but even if it was the result probably would have been the same.

Or the written law supports what happened, and peoples wishful thinking of what they think laws should be dont override what the actual laws are.

Honestly these aren't even riots. It's a couple hundred people breaking some windows and screaming obscenities. Laker rallies have been more intense.

Good job by St. Louis County controlling the situation. These reporters trying to sensationalize this crap is disgusting.

one thing that i keep coming back to is how avoidable a lot of this stuff is if people would simply respect the rule of law. michael brown never has an encounter with the police if he doesn't steal the cigar things from the store. if people employ more morality in how they live, so much of this stuff would never happen in the first place.
