^^^This^^^.... It makes no sense....If you want to move him, hold on to him, hope he finishes the year strong and get a better offer in the offseason..... Why in the world would you trade him midseason for trash (Nolasco) and a Grant Green type/first round bust?

It depends on how much money the Twins are sending us but if Nolasco's pretty much free it's not so bad. Of course everything hinges on Meyer turning things around, but if he can and become a #3 starter we just got a 3 and 5 starter for next year. Also, Nolasco is a sinker ball pitcher if I remember correctly and should benefit from having Simmons behind him. He's also consistentyl pitched worse than his peripherals suggest so maybe there's some improvement there

I was literally going to post this. I think this might be one of the worst trades in a while. 

 

Why trade a young pitcher when this team has suffered 3-4 TJ surgeries? This team isn't going to be good for a very long time.
