Yup I try to talk about breaking bad with my co workers and hardly any of them watch it. They always say they "can't get into it" AKA it doesn't have enough zombies/action/titties, etc.

This show is kinda like the wire in that you have to actually invest some time and brainpower into it. The biggest thing I like about it is it gets you talking and thinking about it and all the intricacies and different angles, theories and such. Great shows tend to do that

The first season had true potential and I actually think the show has some pretty good characters, but it's actually decent.

Breaking Bad has a high of 5m viewers, Walking Dead averages 10m with a high of 14m. Same with Game of Thrones.

It does with Netflix. When they hit the 5m for this new half season premier they credited it to people catching up on Netflix.
