    It's not really a fair comparison since everybody strikes out a ton these days. K/9 is 50% higher today than it was in the 60's and 2x what it was in the 40's and earlier. Mickey Mantle averaged 115 K/162 games in his career which is right in line with Trout compared to league averages.

    I wouldn't use a mechanical hard drive for a boot drive anymore but as a secondary one to install your programs and stuff it's not that bad. Only thing is SSDs are dropping in price so fast that pretty soon it will be easier to just get a 1 TB SSD instead.

    I don't understand the point of it and you'd think the military would know ahead of time that it seems like a bad PR move but the best way to make sure nobody will take your concerns seriously is to handle it the way Texans are.

    I saw one article about him and it said the statistical difference between him and a league average pitcher is entirely because of how well he fields his position and how bad most pitchers are at it.

    The Dodgers are winning the west but the Giants, Rockies, and Dbacks will probably suck. The Nats are winning the east and the Marlins are the only other team in that division that might not suck. The Cards and Pirates are probably going to the playoffs in the central but that still leaves one wild card up for grabs and only a few teams with any chance of it. They're not relying on a bunch of rookies like the Cubs so that's got to help.
