I’ve liked watching hard knocks, but it tends to make me overly sympathetic for many of the players.

wife and i started The Killing. we're two episodes in on S1 and like it so far.

also started watching Hard Sun (on Hulu). it's about a a pair of detectives who uncover some secret gov't program that predicts the end of the world in five years, with mass panic, aggressive crowd control, and detention camps. i'm on S1E3 and it's dealing with the public fallout once the plan was made public, and how the whack jobs are taking the ball and running with it. it's been interesting and i'd recommend it based on what i've watched so far.

Tennison is on my watch list but i wanted to watch the original first. i'm about 3 episodes in. it's kinda so-so for me so far.

Amazon:  Line of Duty  Season 1-4 Just didn't do it for me.  AC12 was just annoying.  Especially the smurf that had little man syndrome, and was trying to be mr big macho to everyone else.  Then season 4 is when they jumped the shark and anti corruption was instead trying to solve an ongoing case?  It's like the division of people no police officer likes, and they can't be detectives, so they detective themselves.  Meanwhile they themselves are corrupt and don't seem to care if it's them.

I didn’t dislike it as much as he did but I did find myself rolling my eyes pretty often
