18 years to the day after the Angels won the 2002 title, the Dodgers won a title in a pandemic shortened season. Hopefully the Angels can get back on top in less than 18 years.

I took a Covid test today and in 18 minutes I got the results. I guess rapid testing was out of the question for MLB. 

I hope Turner infected the whole team so they cannot attend any post World Series celebration for two weeks.

I agree.

Seems very petty to call it an asterisk year.  All 30 teams signed up to play this year and had the same chance.  If anything, this was a tougher gauntlet for the Dodgers to traverse than they otherwise would have.  They were the consensus best team, and in a normal year, would have only had to win 3 series (instead of 4) to go all the way.

Give credit where credit is due.  They won, no asterisk.

With the Snell move it really comes down to one thing IMO. Never make the move that the opposing team really hopes you’ll make. Betts pretty much said in his first post-game interview that they thought they had a real chance once Snell got pulled.

Fully agreed. It’s still a WS title at the end of the day. Every team knew the situation and played as well as they could accordingly. Was it a weird year? Yes, obviously. But one team won the title under the rules and the realities of the situation.

do I understand it correctly that he tested positive yesterday and was allowed to play ? And is that fucking idiot out there getting in his teammates and their families faces without a mask.  Unreal.

Same.  Its a big deal for a lot of people.  I hate the fucking Dodgers of course,  but they were the best team and deserved to win.  Too bad about the other bullshit.
