Baseball was taken away from us by a stupid spread sheet. Managers no longer are in touch with the game on the field and rely on numbers without context to what is going on.

I hope at some point we just get back to playing baseball and we don’t simply go “by the numbers” it is horseshit.  This is exactly what Dodger fans hate about Roberts.  I don’t really believe it is Roberts or Cash making these decisions, but rather some predetermined game plan which is just fucking stupid.

Maybe i'm a naive optimist, but if there's any justice this move will get such fury that it could save baseball.

Outside of the Snell decision, the offense can't be thinking one run was enough to beat this Dodgers team.
