Am told the Mariners have fired a handful of pro scouts, and a handful of amateur scouts, including international scouting director Tim Kissner. Apparently, Jerry Dipoto isn't happy with some things. Wonder if he's happy with the starting rotation HE PUT TOGETHER.

Keep in mind that the M's despite their issues were believed to have had one of the better international scouting teams, particularly in Asia.  Apparently Kissner couldn't find any college senior Dominicans for Jerry to sign.

It is taking him less time to destroy the Mariners than it did the Angels. Granted, he had more to work with here but the speed an efficiency of dissmembering that organization is impressive.

Familia is a FA after the season, no rentals.    

Fiers does have a year remaining.   He's been up and down though, solid in 2014/2015, bad in 2016/2017, solid so far in 2018.

Very impressive from Cruz, considering it's all production from his boom stick.

No defensive value. Everyone is waiting for that decline, but there just doesn't seem to be a sign of it.

didn't want to fire him immediately after they lost the Ohtani sweeps.  would have looked too obvious.
