Same here. Ovolini Mozz is the way to go. Parmasian di reggianno and a little olive oil for me. I made a pizza the other night with some stuff laying around. Fresh Burrata, Ovolini, fresh Parm, Salami, Arugula and shaved black Truffle.  Clock spoiler for lame video.

sorry for the pizza porn.

Tell me about burrata. Is it expensive to buy? It sure is, when I see it in restaurants as an appetizer. Can you make it at home easily?

Here's an interesting stat: Jose Ramirez with 32 HR (one behind JD Martinez) and 26 SB (tied with Dee Gordon for AL lead) has a chance of leading the AL in both HR and SB. Not sure that has ever been done before. Very impressive player, regardless.

Ty Cobb 1909.  He led with 9 home runs and 76 stolen bases

The A's won their last 6 in a row and 12 of 16, The M's also won today while the Astros lost. The A's are just 4 games back of the Astros and have a 2 1/2 game lead over the M's for the second WC. The A's are also 3 games back of the Yankees for the first WC, and could be 2 1/2 back depending on the outcome of the NYY/BOS match later today... Go A's...

Screw Dipoto, if the M's miss the playoffs this year their playoff drought could go on for years after Dipoto decimated the farm system since joining the Mariners.

That's the high stakes game Dipoto plays and routinely loses.  He goes all-in to win now at the cost of the future.  If you look at the current "blue bloods" of baseball and see teams that have built perennial contenders (Yankees, Astros, Dodgers, etc), you see teams who invest a ton of money into drafting and developing talent, so that they can be successful now AND in the future too.

Dipoto's Mariners look likely to fall short of the playoffs this year, and since he has traded just about all of their minor league talent, the team is doomed to get progressively worse in future years.  And, to make matters worse .. they just signed him to an extension!

Had a revelation tonight: Pujols is going to request a trade to the ChiSox, and the deal will happen.

why? I'm in Chicago this week and tonight I met some friends for dinner at Lou Malnatis. Their pizza was insanely good, btw. As I'm talking to my buddy Jeff, behind him on the wall in huge six foot tall letters and bright lights were the following letters

M A N G

it was a clarion moment, as if Lou Malnati himself was extending a personal invite to number five to come to the Windy City.

Make it happen, eppy. The writings on the wall.

Lou Malnati's is definitely one of the best pizzas in the US.

While you're out in Chicago, stop by the Purple Pig.  Another excellent place to eat out there.
