That's my point, Blarg. He's not honoring the dead. he's playing to a room.

He is doing both to the audience that is there. They want to hear their relatives died honorably in service to a greater cause than what we bicker about through social media.

Recently, sailors that died in the Pearl Harbor attack are being identified through DNA and removed from unknown soldier graves and returned to the states for full military burials. It is just a gesture to provide some closure to families and most never even knew the deceased because of the generational gap that is growing wider but for those families it is important their brother, uncle, grandfather, even great grandfather is returned . It still has meaning to them as do speeches on Pearl Harbor Day by Admirals that were born after that day but can voice the sentiment of that time period .

I can respect that and even though it is out dated in style it reaches that audience still and gives them rememberance and a sense of value for their loss and for the few left survivors comradarie.

Pearl Harbor wasn't a surprise to the government. They cracked the Japanese code in 1940 and knew in detail all of their plans long beforehand. Why do you think the carriers were conveniently absent from the harbor that morning?

Pearl Harbor was an inside job.

Please be sarcasm.

Man that would be tough.  First of all I have no idea where to buy those sets of Dad, mom and like 9 kids stickers for the back of your car.  Or, speaking of honoring dead, the dead cholo remembrance stickers I see on beat up Escalades and Tahoes.  I guess there must be a store at Mainplace these days that has them.

all you had to do was ask. here ya go, buddy: https://www.carstickers.com/In_Loving_Memory_Car_Stickers_and_Decals.php

Actually, all of WWII was an inside job, from the invasion of Poland to the dropping of the a-bombs. The world superpowers secretly met in 1933 and planned it all out.

It was the same people who faked the moon landing.
