Not a big fan of the low arm slot slinging motion of Erla. But then again, I wasn't a fan a bunch of guys that proved pretty good in the majors.

Plot twist, he isn't moving it around, it does that on its own.  If that guy can master his secondary stuff he will be very good.

Pretty pumpd for Erla. Was projected to be a 2nd-3rd rounder during the COVID year (1.04 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 14.54 SO9) but took a chance on himself and went back for another season. He was just good but not great during that year in the draft. (3.50 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, 9.04 ERA)

Was impressed with Alexander Ramirez of the 66ers. Was at Friday's game. Alexander Ramirez made hard contact on his hits and outs.

Anyone know what's up with Jack Kochanowicz? I can't find him on any rosters - is he sticking in the Arizona complex (demoted)?

Anyhow, the Angels have a nice collection of high floor college arms, and most of their first showings are positive. They should build up very nice depth for the major league staff over the next year or so.
