Freeman will absolutely rake at Yankee Stadium. Freeman is the smarter play for the Yanks I think. 
 

But if Freeman goes to NY. Are the Angels bidding against themselves for Correa?

Brinson was part of a top 3-5 system that boasted; Brinson, Dillon Tate, Leodys Tavares, Drew Robinson, Luke Jackson. Cody Buckel, Nick Martinez, Luis Ortiz, Jorge Alfaro, Ariel Jurado, Ronald Guzman, Normar Mazara, Hanser Alberto, Jurickson Profar, Chi Chi Gonzalez, Yohander Mendez, Anderson Tejada, Delino Deshields, and Joey Gallo...

The only one of those guys that has really come close to living up to the hype has been Gallo.

So this photographers claim to fame is he broke the Cole deal a day before it happened? 

Not sure if this was posted but still don’t fully believe him. Maybe he has a connection and they mentioned something, at best.

This is a tough one. Its hard to look back at the 2000s and think he doesnt care. The team did basically everything right during that time.

And when he struck oil with the tv deal, he spent like crazy. And even in the recent bad years, he still brought in rendon and upton. Offered Cole a ton, and supposedly a ton to Scherzer.

As pissed off as we all are right now, its not like he doesnt spend. Its that hes spent so poorly.

Lets be honest, even Trout has been a letdown since the megadeal. We focus so much on pujols, but how much have trout, upton and rendon cost us the past 2 years vs what we've gotten out of them....

I think hes just an old man thats out of touch. I hate to say it. The VAST majority of fans are "yay trout!" and now Ohtani. A small minority are nerds like us who would kill to bring in non big name players who are good vs big named expensive old men.

I truly hope someone talks sense into him this year. I think this is going to be a make or break year for ohtani. Doesnt have to get big name scherzer, but he sure as shit needs to open his wallet and let the smart baseball people in the room buy us a playoff hunt at the very least.
