Heres what i would do in a nutshell..
Take the old design, some variation of it that maintains the dual color scheme, and use the updated more modern fonts/names, laways using a  gold halo.
Something like that.

The white ring is dopey.

The concept originally posted is ok.  Getting close to what I want.... something like the 94-96 uniforms. Blue and red hats are so much better.

Well you could say outside of 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2008 the the red uniforms were worn by a mediocre loser for almost two decades!

Let's be honest, the franchise does not have a storied history no matter what uniforms they wore.

I say dont change it.

My fave was the 80s and the mid 90s. But im also a fan of the dodgers (threw up in my mouth) and yankees (wet farted and stuck in a lyft) that have the same uniforms for decades and decades.

When I was 12, our all star uniforms were like this, but red, white, and blue. Pretty lame.

2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008,2009 and 2014 and a world championship is a hell of a lot more successful than 1979, 1982,1986
