That was punkish on Seager's part though, the constant delaying.   He made Garciaparra, the human rain delay, look like a speed demon at being ready to hit.

Maybe true, but that would have annoyed me too. Pitchers are all about timing and if you have some knucklehead doing the jitterbug before batting I'd probably want to hit him too.

I really like how Weaver and Haren both can use self depreciating humor about their pitching. Imagine how scary Weaver would have been with an Ohtani 102 mph fastball. I think Seager would have stepped into the box quickly and be happy to get out of the  box alive.
