Ha. I do recall this now. Pretty dumb.  Still, he's probably one of our better options.  

The thing with Phillips is that he's just better then what we have.  If we get him.  Cool.

Atlanta in September is horrible.

No, he's not an ace.  But he's still paid like an ace at 30m per which could be a disaster for a team that cant afford to make a mistake.

And can I ask how you expect to resign Trout with all this added payroll?

The Angels are reportedly working on a deal to acquire second baseman Brandon Phillips, a deal that would come on the heels of their earlier acquisition of All-Star Justin Upton.

Phillips, who has a no-trade clause, would need to give his approval before the deal could go through.
