those kids and professors are a threat to free thought and the exchange of ideas.

The professors should be rounded up, fired and sent to live in the south for a decade.

All those professors would be fine with it.

Disneyland is nice this time of year.

Regardless of your political affiliation, if you're not a pussy, I recommend signing up for Tom Woods email list. http://tomwoods.com/

Here's today's:

I have no idea where my email marketing would be if I didn't have college craziness to make fun of.

Let's pick a few news items at random. Seriously, these are just three I picked at random.

-- The University of Wisconsin, River Falls, is warning students about certain words and phrases. Like "you guys," which amounts to "generalizing a group of people to be masculine."

-- As part of its Martin Luther King day observation, Grand Valley State University will discuss how "fashion trends" can "impose oppressive effects on marginalized populations." (Whoever is responsible for the phrase "impose oppressive effects," a literary atrocity, should be smacked in the face.) It's being called the "Privilege Your Clothes Show."

-- Over 100 professors at Berkeley are demanding that a speaking invitation extended to Milo Yiannopoulos be rescinded. (No word yet on how many left-wing speakers have been threatened with having their invitations rescinded, but I'll keep you posted.)

When I was an undergraduate, I objected to nearly every speaker invited to campus. The thought never occurred to me to disrupt their events.

Meanwhile, if even one speaker departs from the 3x5 card of allowable opinion -- on college campuses I suppose it's more like a 1x2 card -- he must be hounded, intimidated, disrupted, or prevented from setting foot on campus in the first place.

Good thing you can get the equivalent of a college education, taught by professors (like me) who impart something other than SJW propaganda, from the comfort of your own home:

berkeley was full of hilarious crazy SJWs when i was there. i can't even fathom what it's like now.

its not as liberal as people think though, despite the reputation. those super leftists are just way louder than everyone else.

Yep. This is absolutely the case. Most, but not all, Berkeley students are incredibly hard working and unentitled. The reputation should die.

Atleast we haven't elected a SJW... we did in fact elect a sexist/racist asshole who can't even behave himself. I'd say the SJW's have a right to be pissed off now, this shit isn't going anywhere.

I wouldn't drag professors as a whole into this either. I had 2x the outspoken right wing teachers in college and ALL of the politically obsessed teachers I had in high school were right wingers. Based on my life experience the liberal teacher is a stereotype. Might be true at certain schools but the rest hate paying taxes just like everyone else.

You're special.  You met up with your pastor at a titty bar and now all your teachers were right wing nut jobs.  I'm calling bullshit.

I just recently found out a teammate of mine in college was the director of the Berkeley library system - a $175K job (WTF??????). Anyway they protested him and got him shitcanned/forced him to resign.

City of Berkeley, not Cal.

Isn't that kinda pay normal in California city governments?

In a raucous demonstration, librarians denounced Scott, wheeled out a cart full of books and said that the number of books Scott had removed from shelves would fill 360 such carts. Then they solemnly read a list of booted-out books, as if reading the names of the honored dead on Memorial Day.
