My guess is he stipulated in his hiring, that he would be able to talk with any club that approached him for a position that wasn't "interim"

 

I think he will be a great addition to any team/org that is brainstorming solutions for next season.

Good for JD also, that it keeps him in the loop of what's happening inside baseball.

 

I knew from the day he walked out that it was a mistake to allow him to go.
