Netflix:  American Horror Story Season 9 1984  This one started out kind of campy and totally 80's.  Really slow and predictable.  But then midway it picked up.  After all was said and done, it turned out to be a really good addition to the AHS storyline.

There are nine seasons?!?!?!?

Watched Troy last night and was watching Gladiator yesterday. Still hold up.

Ridley Scott is such a good director.

If you haven't seen it, check out the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven. It's a seriously great film that would've won awards if they released it instead of the theatrical cut they put out.

It truly transforms the film in very meaningful ways and is absolutely woth your time.

Love the Kingdom of Heaven directors cut. I had never seen the theatrical cut but after listening to the audio commentary it's hard to imagine how any of it was coherent considering what was cut out.

Netflix:  Giri/Haji (Duty/Shame)  A Japanese series, about two brothers, one a cop, one a wanna be Yakuza.  It's setting is partially Japan, but mostly Britain.  Half of it is subtitled, and the other half in a British accent, so you might as well subtitle the whole thing.  Plot line is kind of out there.  It seems that the British or the Japanese police can't catch a cold.  Also it seems for two countries that aren't supposed to have guns, a gun is easily and readily available.  This is also one of those everyone is random, then they slowly come together into some sort of 6 degrees of Bacon.  Probably not for everyone.  Lou could probably give a better recommendation or not.

^^^I've watched the first few episodes, but kind of lost interest. Not sure if I'll go back and finish it.
