Watching Deadwind on Netflix

Finnish murder series. Flawed detective with lot's of twists and turns in the plot. Need to use closed caption.

Prime:  A Quiet Place.  Very disappointed with this one.  Thought this was supposed to define the genre, but it had so many holes in it.  It's a if there is nothing else on type movie.  And you have to like the genre.

Netflix:  Silence.  Very similar to a Quiet place.  Guess I was in the mood.  A bit better than A Quiet Place.  But still not that great.  Another time to kill movie.

Documentary of Alex Honnold's ascent of El Capitan's 3200 foot vertical rock (without no rope or a buddy).  Just himself and some chalk.

Highly recommend.  Intense shots of his climb as well as training, plus the scenery is outstanding.

 

That guy is a wimp. Back when I did it we didn't have chalk...or shoes.

Netflix - The Unicorn Store.  I gave it a shot because of Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson.  Kind of a kid/chick flick/feminist flick.  All about girls growing up and confidence or some shit like that.  It's more silly than anything, and not really in the haha kind of sillyness.  It's a bottom of the barrel want to watch something mindless type of film.
