Maybe they should find a way to make more money in their spare time. Being in the minor leagues for 9 years means baseball isn't working out I guess.

9 years and half a million dollars.

It's time for a career change. Imagine the shock he's going to get when he finds out he's going to have to take care of himself.

It's interesting that he never enjoyed playing baseball, yet waited to quit until after he banked a couple of million dollars.

I work Uber eats and doordash on my lunch breaks and after my regular 9 hour days to make extra money for savings and paying off debt faster.

Breedlove can cry me a river. What a whiner. Invest that signing bonus and he'd be sitting pretty right now.

This isn't about you.

I respect the hustle. Good stuff, man.

I think the bottom line is that many teams recognized the bad conditions for their minor leaguers and took steps to improve them. Legal or not, if you want your players to flourish, they have to be treated correctly. Like the other poster noted, Moreno not responding says volumes. The treatment is wrong.

Lou is only going to focus on the one player that was quoted and not the guys that got little to no signing bonus.  He will say they made the choice and they can quit and go work somewhere else.

I haven't heard from any other player.
