Victor Rojas Appreciation Thread: Resigns as Angels play by play announcer

I'm not surprised, based on some things he's tweeted and posted over the last few months.  I got the impression broadcasting didn't seem as fun for him anymore.  Wonder who'll replace him?

Well that sucks.  2021 is picking up right where 2020 left off.  More bad news.

I'll really miss Victor Rojas calling games for the Angels.  I valued his ability to make the games entertaining, even when the team wasn't playing well.  And more importantly: I valued that he was blunt and called out the team when it wasn't playing well.  More of that, please, when they recruit a successor.

Thank you to Victor Rojas for 11 memorable years.

Damn. Victor was legitimately a great PBP guy and fun to listen to. @VictorRojas you will absolutely be missed and will be as tough to replace as any player on our staff.

Will miss Victor a TON. One of the coolest and smartest guys I’ve ever had the chance to talk to. He definitely would have been a great GM at some point. Wish him nothing but the best for he and his family. 

Maybe Terry Smith moves up to play-by-play for TV and Jose Mota moves to radio?
