Should we give Dylan Bundy an extension?

Bundy is getting killed by all of us.  Imagine if he was pitching well, and he wasn’t feeling well and he took the night off, this place would probably question his work ethic, his grit, his commitment to winning and talk about how Pukey McGee pitched both ends of a double header in 1888 while running a fever of 126 degrees and he threw up between each pitch.  Instead the dude goes out there, gives it a try, throws up, and that basically sets in motion the all too predictable, “that’s how I feel watching him pitch this year”.  The moment I got the alert from Twitter that he threw up, I know the joke, and guess what, it wasn’t original because its all over AW, Twitter, and FB.  Congrats on being unoriginal.  War Pukey McGee!  I’m out.

Hmmmm...I wonder why that is? In all seriousness, they likely lose that game if he pitched any further into it. I think it's an obvious decision to replace him with Suarez going forward.

For the record, a wholly predictable and obvious joke or punchline can absolutely still be funny despite the fact that it is in your face and you know it is coming.

All good points.  I don't wish what happened to Bundy on anyone, with some exceptions.

Has anyone dug deeper into the numbers to see what has changed in his approach or pitch mix? I know he sucks, but just curious how he can go from a solid guy to complete garbage. Just goes to show how flukey last year is going to turn out to be (fuck the Dodgers - doesn't count).

Didnt he suck in Baltimore the last few years, too?
