I was thinking the same thing. It would be hard to see someone like Kole play for another team this year.

They also know that professional baseball is a business. If any of them get traded to make the team more competitive, they’ll understand.

I view that organization with a newfound respect after this.

It was in yesterday’s story. 

I only know how the dozen or so guys on the 3 o’clock bus found out. Traveling secretary Tom Taylor told them. I don’t know how everyone else found out.

post game video was the toughest thing yet.  

the clubhouse needs to keep guys like Bour and Lucroy in there.  Bour because he's unfortunately been involved in something like this.  Lucroy seemed like the quiet leader today.  Trying to help guys stay strong.  Not sure why I got that vibe.  Just his body language pre, during and post game today.  

I understand they've got to do what is best for the team from a baseball standpoint, but I agree that trading anyone in the next couple weeks would be rough.  You almost can't trade for anyone either.  How does someone come into that clubhouse right now.

Good point.

You go through tragedy as a group, you bond. Big time. And replacements are always going to feel awkward.

But i think new guys coming in would be welcomed, especially if they provide a boost. Losing guys will be the tough part....

Part of the fun/joy of sports is having a good guy and a bad guy.  A white hat and a black hat.  You need teams to hate every bit as much as you need teams to love. 

For the last decade or so, the Rangers have been one of the teams I've hated.  They'll never be that again.  Not after the last couple of days.

He must be a specialist of some kind with his type of injury. Not sure. But if you go back to the day Cozart talked to the media last week he said he was going.
