From his splits you dont want him facing a lot of RH, but vs LH its quite impressive.

Signing Moustakas would move Pujols down the lineup.  I’m for this at a maximum of 2 years.

moving Pulos down one spot for the 80 games or fewer that he'll be in the lineup isn't likely to have any impact on the season.  

the most likely outcome of adding Mous would be to take at bats from Fletcher and/or Ward.  Most likely Fletcher as he was probably going to win the 2b job with Cozart at 3b.  Is Mous better than Fletcher right now?  yes.  He's likely more valuable.  

I have to think that we were in on him at some point but we aren't now.  They probably toyed with the idea prior to singing Allen.

1B Pujols/Bour (30+ HR in a platoon)

2B Cozart (hit 24 HR in 122 games in 2017)

SS Simmons (always double digits in HR)

3B Moustakas (good for 25-35 HR annually)

LF Upton (30+ HR)

CF Trout (MLB Network analysts predicting he hits 50 HR this season)

RF Calhoun (full season of his new approach and batting stance could see a spike in HR totals)

DH Ohtani (even after missing the entire month of April he could still hit 30 HR. Hit 22 HR in just 114 games)

C Lucroy (hit as many as 24 HR just three seasons ago, but just 10 combined over the past two)
