I've never been overly impressed with the guy.  Below average defense.  Good but streaky offense.  I loved the trade and his old contact.  I just don't get the extension.  Upton had no leverage and we shelled out more cash in what turned into the lowest economic off-season in a while.  I miss the days when Juan Rivera was status quo.

I know he hasn’t been here very long but what is it with Anaheim that makes some of these players sh*t the bed when they play here. Look at Upton’s numbers for his former teams compared to what he’s doing for the Angels. It’s just an observation but geeez why is it always us!
