Gameday Thread: 4/22 - Angels vs Giants

We got a little ahead of ourselves with that scintillating 13-3 start, mostly against struggling teams.

With that pitching and all the rest of it, Houston could win 110 games when all is said and done. I mean, Charlie friggin' Morton is their 5th starter?!

I'm liking the idea of knocking the Twins out of the second wild card, then finishing off the Yankees with Richards on the mound and Ohtani blasting three home runs in the Bronx.

Damn 1-5 homestand, not really what we were expecting. Oh well, it’s a long season full of ups and downs. I think we all knew going in we didn’t really stack up with Boston and Houston but if we can get 92 or 93 wins and win the wild card game I’ll be happy. Especially with the bright spots we have in the minors.

Just a bad homestand. Go get em in Houston.

Was at the game today and a lot of people were hoping that Sosh would have gone with the pinch-hit with Valbuena up with the bases juiced. It didnt TOTALLY backfire with Rivera getting on base as the tying run but was Pujols on a strict off-day and off-limits to pinch hit?
