Just jumping in on this starting rotation discussion, I would give Barria at least another start. He was undone today by an historic plate appearance by Mr. Belt.

Yea, it was refreshing.  That guy, despite his inconsistencies with the Angels and his PED suspension, has put up a pretty good career.

I'm not the biggest fan of Scioscia, but at least I'll give him credit for getting us to the postseason once since 2009.

since it was a day game after a night game Scioscia probably decided it would be a good time to rest Pujols. Honestly with Pujols swinging at every pitch someone like Cueto would probably slice him up so fair play to Scioscia.
