We have like 4 quality starts the entire season.  Our pitchers are getting bombed(home runs) at a very high rate. I don’t give a shit who this guy is.  Anyone who says the angels have the best pitching staff in baseball YTD is a dumb ass.  And their opinion should probably immediately be disregarded.

I believe Bumgarner might be back by then. Bochy won't let them fall out of contention.

Sadly, you're right. Can't hold this against Scioscia. Right now the choices are from a grab bag of mostly crap. And you can't run Alvarez out there every night for multiple innings.

I don't think SF took on Longoria's contract for 5 yrs to give up this soon. Especially since they don't even have Bumgarner yet, and Posey/Crawford/Belt /Melancon are all signed for big money and are over 30. SF also sells out most of their games, they aren't going to tank, they were terrible last year and didn't sell either.
