Interesting to see if he's open to playing 3rd. Very early in the process it was mentioned some teams were inquiring about him as a possible 3B. Would allow us to keep ears open on others.

Ian Kinsler is probably one of the best 2B in MLB. Consistently put up GREAT numbers and has ++ defense.

 

I guess some here would have been happy if we re-signed Danny fucking Espinosa.

This also keeps a lot of payroll flexibility this year and beyond. Always a good thing. It's easier to see Eppler spending on Moose and pitching now.

I'm glad we didn't overpay for Hernandez. As long as Adell, Jones, Marsh, Barria, Rodriguez, Canning, Suarez, Soriano, W. Hernandez or J. Rivera aren't in the deal, I'm on board.
